New Delhi: Union Urban Development minister Kamal Nath on Friday stressed the need for designing and planning cities so that they become habitable and aesthetically attractive.
Noting that urban centres are currently growing by "default not design", he said designing aesthetic, habitable and sustainable solutions are important factors needed in the process of suburbanisation in order to attract populations to alternative, sub-urban centres of growth. Read more
