PUNE: Development of the proposed industrial exhibition and convention centre at Moshi near Pimpri-Chinchwad will be completed under the supervision of a government-appointed advisory committee, chief minister Prithviraj Chavan said on Friday. Making a statement in the state assembly, Chavan also said that the special purpose vehicle, set up for completion of the project, has been scrapped.
The proposal for the industrial exhibition and convention centre within the limits of the Pimpri-Chinchwad New Township Development Authority (PCNTDA), had come up for discussion in the assembly on April 10 and Chavan promised that he will make a statement before the end of the assembly session.
