BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh will have a Commission for Senior Citizens, which would recommend measures to the State government for betterment of senior citizens. Besides, a rehabilitation policy for senior citizens would also be laid, according to an official release.
In order to help senior citizens go on pilgrimage,Mukhya Mantri Teerth Darshan Yojana - Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme for Senior Citizens will come into effect from this financial year. The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made these announcements while addressing a Panchayat of Senior Citizens at CM House here today.
