HYDERABAD : The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) would be taking up an impact study of Municipal Solid Waste on environment at four sites in the State, as part of a World Bank assisted project.
The project is also aligned with Union Government endeavour to establish a National Programme for Rehabilitation of Polluted Sites (NPRPS) on clean up and rehabilitation of polluted sites and thereby reduce associated environmental and health risks. Read more
