Visakhapatnam : Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation commissioner B. Ramanjaneyulu stated that 36 wineshops are located in the city near places of worship and educational institutions.
While interacting with mediapersons at the weekly grievance cell here on Monday, the civic chief informed that the GVMC was making all possible efforts to remove such wineshops. It had also received several complaints from public against liquor business in close proximity to residential areas, mosques, temples and educational institutions. Read more
