CHANDIGARH: With absence of power halting the traffic flow on city roads, traffic police are now using Facebook to inform city residents about congested routes. Meanwhile, half-a-dozen updates about the dysfunction traffic signals and congested routes are being uploaded on Facebook page of Chandigarh traffic police, every day.
On Saturday, due to the long electricity cut and manual control of traffic, the smooth flow was affected for more than 20 minutes at the sectors 34 and 35 light point. Meanwhile, sectors 37 and 38 traffic light point also witnessed of around 15 minutes long traffic jam due to the failure of power supply. Read more
