Mumbai : Maharashtra government today ordered a CID inquiry into the issuance of tenders allotted by BMC to private contractors for lifting of solid waste and cleaning of drainages on the directives of the state Legislative Council's deputy chairman Vasant Davkhare.
The announcement was made by the minister of state for Urban Development Bhaskar Jadhav in the Legislative Council. Read more
