Jaipur (PTI) : In a bid to make people aware of road accidents and safe driving, the Rajasthan government has directed state officials to prepare a plan for running a campaign regarding the issue. Chief Secretary of Rajasthan government C K Mathew, during a meeting with the officials here yesterday, gave them directions to prepare an information, education and communication plan to make the people aware of the safe driving and road safety.
Mathew also directed the officials of the state departments of transport, public works, health and road transport corporation to carry out studies to ensure effective implementation of national road safety policy and road-safety related other programmes, according to a release here today. Read more
