NAGPUR: After gathering dust for over 15 years, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh (MP) governments have revived the Jamghat project, which is vital for meeting water needs of the city in late 2020s. The project is expected to take minimum 10 years for completion. However, this will depend on the initiative shown by local politicians.
Water resources ministers of Maharashtra and MP Sunil Tatkare and Jayant Malaiya discussed the project at a meeting held here on Saturday. BJP national president Nitin Gadkari was also present. Read more
