Mumbai: In light of the recent demonstrations by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers against the toll plazas in the city, it seems that the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has taken a serious note of the protest. The authority has now come out with tenders for electronic boards, by which the motorists passing through will get figures about the toll money that has been collected since the booth’s inauguration.

The step has been taken in light of the recent demonstrations by MNS workers against the toll plazas in the city.
Confirming the same, MSRDC Chairman Jaydutt Kshirsagar said, “In the coming three months, around 27 MSRDC toll plazas at various places in the state will get electronic display boards or LED boards.” According to MSRDC, the electronic display boards that will be installed will have updated figures of the toll collected till date and how much more revenue is yet to be gathered by the private contractor operating the toll plaza.
