Today is the 112th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Lal Bahadur Shastri. Born on 2nd October 1901, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri was the 2nd Prime Minister of the Republic of India and a leader of the Indian National Congress party. Lal bahadur Shastri  led an honest and simple life even when he was the prime minister of India. He played an important role in establishing peace between India and Pakistan. It was under his leadership that led to the country winning over Pakistan during the Indo-Pak war of 1965.
