Think India Foundation is a non-profit, apolitical think tank that was founded in India, in 2009. Think India Foundation's mission is to find workable solutions to the problems stemming from rapid urbanisation in India. 10 of the world’s fastest growing 30 urban areas are in India. By 2039, another 240 million people will move to India’s cities.
Think India is engaging with the Indian government, leading corporations, and global experts to provide structure to rapid urbanisation.
Think India has created groups of leading subject-area experts who are researching solutions to urbanisation problems such as urban congestion, crowded transportation, poor health care facilities, etc. Think India will present its solutions to key decision makers, to influence policies that will impact India's long-term interests.
Think India hopes to create active public participation in the process of urbanisation by creating a confluence between policy makers, business, and young intellectuals. Think India will thereby encourage active three-way dialogue.
